Paraguay Project

Do you already have your Paraguayan driver’s license and now want to use it in other countries? Let me tell you how to do it.

  • You’ve recently obtained Paraguayan residency, and shortly after, you also got your driver’s license. Now you’re driving around Paraguay, exploring corporate centers and touring the country on four wheels. Soon, you’ll be traveling outside Paraguay again, and you’re wondering if you can use the same license to drive a vehicle in other countries in the Americas, Europe, or other continents? Well, yes, it’s definitely possible.

That’s where the International Driving Permit (IDP) comes in, which certifies the validity of your Paraguayan driver’s license for use in countries that have signed international road traffic conventions. It is especially useful if you find yourself as a tourist in another country and get involved in traffic violations or accidents, as it may be required. Also, if you’re stopped by a traffic officer (as a tourist), you won’t need to show your passport or other identification documents—only your International Driving Permit.
